An experimental demonstration of the memristor test

A simple and unambiguous test has been recently suggested [J. Phys. D: Applied Physics, 52, 01LT01 (2018)] to check experimentally if a resistor with memory is indeed memristor, namely whose resistance depends only on the charge that flows through it, or history of voltage across it. However, although such would represent litmus for claims about memristors (in ideal sense), it yet be applied widely actual physical devices. In this paper, we apply current-carrying wire interacting magnetic core, which was claimed memristor (so-called `$\Phi$ memristor') Appl. 125, 054504 (2019)]. The results our experiment demonstrate unambiguously memristor' not memristor: simply an inductor memory. This demonstration casts further doubts do actually exist in nature may easily created lab.
